General Hospital Spoilers : Will ‘Who Shot Sonny’ Be Revealed Or Will The Truth Be Hidden?

General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 7, promise that Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) role in Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) predicament will finally be discovered. But will the secret be revealed or is it about to be buried six feet under just as Sonny almost was?

Sam certainly went off the rails when she shot the Dimpled Don. What are friends for, right? But of course she literally wasn’t in her right mind, having been infected with toxoplasmosis.

Doctors treating her now think that the infection led to the delusional mania that caused her to think Sonny was a menace to her and hubby Jason (Billy Miller).

Well, she wasn’t wrong about that, but her paranoia led her to shoot Sonny and leave him to die. Luckily he’s been found, but can you imagine the chaos that ensues if Sam is outed as his attempted murderer?

Slowly the sensational truth appears to de dawning on Jason, with the climax occurring this Monday, August 7.

Spoilers reveal that the man treating Sam, Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen), takes a phone call apparently from Jason. The conversation leaves the good doc with a puzzled appearance; the strange exchange can only be about Sam, right?

Has Jason finally put all the clues together, and realized that Sam was the one who shot Sonny? Her strange behavior, along with the memory loss of that time period, make her a prime suspect.

But if Jason wants to protect Sam, he’s in a race against time since the police question Sonny as soon as he wakes up. Will the truth come out?

Meanwhile, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) visits her father in prison, hoping to get some answers on how to deal with her blackmailing ex-husband.

Elsewhere in Port Charles, Kiki (Hayley Erin) shows up at Ava’s (Maura West) apartment, but her mom doesn’t want to see her.
