Photos Released From GH Star Ryan Paevey’s Episode Of ‘Battle Of The Network Stars’

New photos have been released from ‘General Hospital’ star Ryan Paevey’s long-anticipated episode of ‘Battle of the Network Stars’, airing August 17th on ABC.

For those who don’t know, ‘Battle of the Network Stars’ is a show that takes current and classic TV stars from all the various genres and eras on television, and pits them against each other in games such as dunk tank, obstacle course, kayak relay, and of course, the infamous tug of war. The original version of the show aired back in the 70s and 80s to huge ratings and major stars from all the networks fighting it out on screen, and now that the show has come back, the various categories include TV Moms and Dads, Primetime Soaps (which Ryan Paevey will be a part of), TV Kids, and Cops.Ryan Paevey is in good company on the show, which includes major TV stars such as Cameron Mathison (All My Children), Taye Diggs (Guiding Light), Deidre Hall (Days of Our  Lives), Vivica A. Fox (The Young and the Restless), Catherine Bach (The Young and the Restless), Lorenzo Lamas (The Bold and the Beautiful), Corbin Bernsen (The Young and the Restless), Galen Gering (Days of Our Lives), and Erik Estrada (The Bold and the Beautiful).

This particular episode featuring General Hospital’s Ryan Paevey airs August 17th, but there have been several photos released online of Ryan’s part on the show. They are available to view in full on Ryan Paevey Net, and feature Ryan competing in the various obstacles, including a tire course, archery, running, and swimming.

Game shows have always done exceptionally well in ratings, and they have a long history on network television because executives know that there’s a big audience for them. And what better way to ensure a ratings bonanza than combine competition & game shows with soap operas, another genre with a loyal and massive fan base?
