Y&R Melissa Claire Egan Announces New Charity Event in LA #DaytimeForDogs
The Young and the Restless fans have something very exciting to look forward to! Actress Melissa Claire Egan has announced a new meet and greet with fans to help benefit the Dharma Rescue for disabled dogs.
The actress shared the news on her Instagram account. She captioned her photo with, “You guys!! BIG NEWS!! I’ll be hosting an exclusive meet&greet in LA with some of my best babes on Friday, 8/18, to benefit @dharma_rescue! Come hang!”
Other soap drama stars that will be there include Rebecca Budig, Melissa Ordway and Tamra Braun. The event will take place Friday, August 18 from 3-5pm at Hancock Park in Los Angeles.
According to the organization, they provide animals in need with shelter, spaying and neutering, medical care, and rehabilitation. Their rescue journey has given them the opportunity to care for abused, critically ill, disabled and senior dogs and cats.
Melissa is one actress and celebrity who is very involved with the organization. Earlier this summer she posted a video about the #PetPeeveChallenge. Fans were asked to make a video, challenge their friends and make a donation. Melissa challenged her former co-stars, including Justin Hartley’s fiancé Chrishell Stause (ex-Bethany), Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan, All My Children), and Kelly Sullivan (ex-Sage).
