NBC Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that right now Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) are about as far apart as two people can be. In fact Allie tried to shoot Tripp in an incredible scene that was only topped by a return from the dead from his mom Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun)!

But is there a scenario in which these two Salemites could find common ground and actually bond? It sounds amazing, but stranger things have happened in Salem.

She is the daughter of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) and he is the son of Patch Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Ava Vitali. As such both are offspring of prominent townspeople and ideally they should be friends, not enemies!

DOOL Spoilers – Things Are Not Looking Good For Tripp Dalton

Tripp has denied that he attacked Allie, but oddly enough, four DNA tests reveal he is a match for her baby. There are all kinds of speculation as to how this can be, from flawed testing to Tripp really being the father, to Tripp having a relative that is actually the father. Most bets are on Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) being the father, in a storyline that if true is sure to be stunning and unconventional.

If this turns out to be true, and Tripp is exonerated where does this leave him and Allie?

Allie is in a bit of trouble because the last time she interacted with Tripp she held a gun on him and threatened to make sure he could never father children in the future. Yikes!

He adamantly refused to admit to attacking her in exchange for her not shooting him, and it sure looks like he is innocent. If so, will Allie forgive him? Can he forgive her?
