Jennifer tries to figure out what has Gwen so upset. Jennifer thanks that Gwen is mad at Abby. Gwen says she’s mad at Jack for lying to Jennifer. Jennifer understands Gwen’s reaction. Nicole thinks Tripp should be in prison, he wonders if the same goes for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) after she tried to shoot him. Nicole has done bad things as well but she and Ava used to be friends. Tripp knows that Nicole hates him, but she’s the only person who had anything nice to say about his mother. Nicole and Tripp come to a truce. Nicole says Ava can come to see her grandson if she wants.

Ava goes to take a shower. Kayla is furious that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) has Ava in their house. Steve explains that he has to watch Ava to help their son. Tripp arrives with coffee. Kayla goes off on Tripp.

Allie is upset that her word isn’t enough to prosecute Tripp. Rafe tells Allie she cannot take the law into her own hands. Rafe is going to talk to Tripp but Allie needs to stay away from him. Allie understands how her mother felt. Rafe says Allie needs to keep her anger in check. Allie tells Rafe that Ava took the gun. Allie tells Rafe how Ava held her at gunpoint. Rafe leaves and bumps into Nicole in the hallway and visits with the baby. Nicole is glad Rafe talked to Allie. Rafe leaves to find Tripp. Rafe arrives at Steve and Kayla to arrest Ava.
