British royal family news reveals that Prince Charles of Wales has just been slapped down by Scotland’s finger-wagging First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. The steely lady has reportedly informed him and Camilla to stand down and stay where they’re at for Christmas, don’t even think about coming to Scotland!

As a result he and Camilla will not have the chance to wear their ugly Christmas sweaters in Scotland this year, sipping eggnogg at their beloved home on the Balmoral estate.

An inside source said of the rude unwelcome, “It’s very sad, but their Royal Highnesses do not want to cause trouble. They understand the difficulties of travelling during the crisis and look forward to returning to Scotland as soon as possible.”

Scottish National Party leader Sturgeon earlier revealed her displeasure with Prince William and Kate’s morale-boosting visit on the royal train. The three-day trip was meant to recognize essential workers but was not without criticism.

The plaid meanie said she told Buckingham Palace of the strict Covid restrictions, as if they didn’t already know. Maybe flaunting the rules in her face and coming anyway made her all the more determined to keep Charles at bay.

Restrictions include a ban on, “non‑essential travel between Scotland and other parts of the UK until further notice,” and her harsh talk reportedly surprised aides who had consulted Sturgeon’s officials while planning the tour.

Nicola Sturgeon Delivered A Lump Of Coal To Charles And Camilla This Year

Charles and Camilla are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland. They seem to spend New Year’s Eve on the Balmoral estate every year since they married in 2005. Not this year!

Now they are thought to be spending January at the Prince’s Gloucestershire home, Highgrove, or Camilla’s Wiltshire residence, Ray Mill House.

Their first lockdown was spent at Birkhall and Charles raised eyebrows after announcing he had COVID soon after arriving. Apparently some politicians thought it in uber bad taste for the poor prince to get sick in their territory!

Yet sources stressed that he did not know he had the virus before traveling to his estate. As to Nicola’s edict, a Clarence House spokesman declined to comment, but a royal source stated their plans are, “up in the air.” Well we know who’s getting a lump of coal in their stocking this year.
