British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are doubling down on their mass media presence by adding a Spotify podcast to their Netflix deal. Oh boy, lucky us.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, oops sorry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they prefer to be called, have announced that their brand new shiny production company Archewell Audio will be teamed up with Spotify to produce a Meghan and Harry-hosted podcast, with the multi-year deal set to launch with a holiday special before the end of the year. How fitting, 2020 will go out with the royal bang it so richly deserves.

How ironic that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ditched their royal lives back in the UK because they wanted to get away from the media. What they really meant to say is that they are not going to be content until they have their own media empire, something that got lost in their translation.

Harry wants nothing to do with the royal family, but the world at large associates him with them—mostly because he insists on being called the Duke of Sussex!

According to Meghan and Harry, they have no choice but to get into the podcast biz telling People: “What we love about podcasting is that it reminds all of us to take a moment and to really listen, to connect to one another without distraction.
