The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) thankfully got through Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) thick sometimes thick skull. She convinced him that he doesn’t need to purge himself by telling Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) what happened at the cliff house.

Living in yet another hypothetical future world, Liam was determined to drop the reveal about the Steam reconnect. That would have clearly put Lope in jeopardy. But, as Steffy also enforced, her relationship with John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and the immediate welfare of Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) was also in play.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Revisits Pattern

Liam’s idea that Hope would understand what happened and eventually forgive him was deeply naive. Steffy was incredulous to his line of thought. But her mention of the children was the best possible point to raise, as Liam is most open to sound thinking when his children are part of any discussion. He’s a good father, who means well.

It’s also fair to suggest that Liam seems to forget that the one-time triangle that exists between himself, Steffy, and Hope no longer solely affects the three of them. His back-and-forth between both people also impacts the kids, including Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray).

B&B Spoilers – John Finnegan Gains Needed Intelligence

Hope’s tell to Finn about the mannequin was strategically important. B&B’s writing staff needed Novlan’s character to know that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) kissed plastic Hope and that Liam misinterpreted that brilliantly conceived, shot, performed, and produced scene.

Finn’s knowledge creates a path from him not knowing about Steam’s reconnect to eventually being able to piece together that something happened between Steffy and Liam. Teasers indicate that Steffy will see a doctor, with the implication being that she could be pregnant.

Being aware that Liam was stunned by the thought of Hope betraying him with Thomas will allow Finn to draw an informed conclusion. He’ll surely come to learn that Liam and Steffy were together.

The next will involve how Liam responds to Hope when she learns what happened. He’ll claim an effort to protect her feelings, which will look like a weak coverup. As for Steffy and Finn, that fallout projects as less fierce, but also very problematic.
