British Royal family news shows that at least one royal watcher thinks that Prince Harry Duke of Sussex may have sunk any hope he had for keeping his military honors. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex left the royal family in March for financial freedom, something they have attained in spades due to deals with Spotify and Netflix.
Even so Queen Elizabeth has refused to strip away their HRH styles, and they insist on being called Duke and Duchess. In March 2021 a review of Megxit is due including a review of Harry’s military titles which he had to give up in exchange for his financial freedom. Was it worth it?
Prince Harry Was Reportedly “devastated” To Give Up His Military titles
According to Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer, the deals with Spotify and Netflix may not be as problematic for Harry as his urging to “reject hate speech” before the US election this year.
“Nothing has been decided yet but I imagine both sides will make the split permanent,” he said. “It’s always dangerous to second guess the Queen but it looks as if the US political intervention was the final nail for Harry’s hopes of retaining any military patronages on behalf of Her Majesty.”
That’s because members of the Royal Family do not espouse political opinions and they do not vote, a rule Harry flagrantly disobeyed.
The Queen Is Traditionally Politically Neutral And It Is Unconstitutional For Other Royals To Vote
Palmer added the couple mouthing off several times on the US on the election would be seen as a “major breach” in the UK. It was also a major issue for one US congressman who accused the pompous pair of “interfering” in the election.
He added, “It was taken really seriously as a major breach of undertakings they had given voluntarily, unlike the commercial deals as far as I can tell.”
A spokesperson for the couple said at the time that their comments did not refer to a specific political party or candidate but, “a call for decency.” In particular the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in a live video created by Time magazine to celebrate the world’s most influential people and Harry said, “As we approach this November, it’s vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity. When the bad outweighs the good, for many, whether we realize it or not, it erodes our ability to have compassion and our ability to put ourself in someone else’s shoes.”
Apparently history is not his strong suit as he seems to have forgotten that Americans do not take kindly to British royalty trying to dictate their politics.
Nonetheless, clueless Harry nattered on, “Because when one person buys into negativity online, the effects are felt exponentially. It’s time to not only reflect but act.”

What Harry fails to do is consider his statements before he makes them. Harry even contradicts himself. He wants to be free and independent from the Royals but still wants to keep his title and military status. He lecturers on environmental impact but lives in a big house, drives a big car, frequently use planes and now he actively promotes streaming which has a big environmental impact, does he thinks this stuff run on air! The encouraging of streaming is massively impacting the use of servers and electrical elements required to provide this service, it doesn't run without an environmental impact but he thinks it's ok because it suits him. He is a hypocrite of the highest level. If Harry wants to continue to lecture people how to live environmentally he needs to live by example. If he wants to tell us all to be kind a considerate to others he needs to first think of his own actions. His childish tit for tat with his family, using a veterans cemetery for a photo opportunity and not respecting the Americas freedom to vote without the interference of a British Prince. Harry's self importance is out of control.
It’s funny because as you espouse views of environmental impact being flagrantly ignored, you’re doing it yourself. You’re using a server to air your grievance, I sincerely doubt you leave a zero carbon foot print. A British royal can have a viewpoint. He’s not the only one encouraging Americans to stand up against hate. Yet he seems to be someone zeroed in on more. We slam celebrities for not using theirs and then slams them when they do use it. This has nothing to do with a British person trying to assert authority over Americans. People simply want to pick him apart. A lot of Americans didn’t like how the British treated Meghan. How racist they were. But we seem to overlook how badly we treat Harry. Funny how that hypocrisy works.
resurrect Henry fast get rid of these two most useless pair in creation, they open their big mouths and spout absolute rubbish, they sure did endorse one candidate as markle the diva hates Trump, he was roasted saying she was nasty look at everything the bitch called him she wasn’t called out for it, stop taking photos of them only the people that work for their so called charities who are more deserving. . Take away the titles see how far they get. Hey deserted Queen and country for money but still wants his military titles what an asshole he is, how come he is still in the states what type of visa did his mistress markle butyl or do for him to still be here buying a house and making money, did Netflix 'or Spotify check his visa as doesn’t have a green card unless she bought that for him also it’s a crime to hire an illegal Last time I checked
Meghan has hacked your account
You are right I am not living in a mud hut and tapping my opinions on bark with some organic ink. However I am not lecturing people how they should live their lives. I am not telling Harry he shouldn't have a big car or take a flight what I am saying is he shouldn't be lecturing people to do one thing whilst he is doing the opposite. That's fine if you are ok with his double standards but I am not. I (like many people) try to be conscious of my environmental footprint. I try to do what I can to reduce my negative impact on the environment and I fully admit it's a struggle, especially whilst trying to earn a living. I don't lecture others how to live, unless like Harry they hypocritically start to lecture me/others. I bet my entire street doesn't impact the environment as much as Harry, most have one vehicle and don't often take flights, so why do you think Harry has the right to tell us how we should live. If you think a British prince giving a media interview on American politics and voting is not an issue you don't understand how much this will be a big concern to British parliament and the Queen. The UK respect the US and value them as allies, a nieve and foolish member of the royal family meddling in American politics is disrespectful and embarrassing. I would bet the UK are relieved the US has just dismissed this incident as a spoiled, foolish, prince exercising his new found freedom. We will see in March how much he has upset his government and queen.
No way, send them home
