The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 21-25, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin viewers are in for a great week on the CBS soap. But first, we have a quick programming note. There won’t be a new episode of Y&R on Friday, December 25th, as CBS will air an encore episode of the show. But there will be plenty of action earlier in the week, and we’ve got the scoop for you.
The week will kick off as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) does a little reminiscing about a past Christmas, back when Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) was still alive. Meanwhile, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will be led into potential trouble when her friend Jordan (Madison Thompson) urges her to steal a bottle of booze from the bar at Society. Faith will chicken out, leading to some tension between the friends.
#1 Victoria Newman Throws A Wrench Into Billy Abbott’s Plans
Other Y&R spoilers indicate that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will cause some issues for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), as she reveals that Johnny Abbott (Ryan and Holden Hare) needs his father’s presence and reassurance – just as Billy’s about to whisk Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) off for an overnight escapade in New Orleans. That will threaten to ruin Billy’s plans.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have some secretive Christmas presents in the works for each other, and they’ll find themselves hiding their plans in some comical scenes. It looks like Kyle will be planning to give Summer some jewelry with a gem from the “teardrop of love” necklace, but he’ll want to hide the surprise.
#2 Amanda Sinclair Gets Big News About Her Biological Mother
Across town, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will protect his interests in some way, as Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) reveals that her private investigator found her biological mother Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storye). Amanda will decide that a meeting is in order, and she’ll end up coming into contact with Maya and another relative named Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose). Could this end up being Amanda and Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) sister?
#3 Victoria Newman Struggles With Jealousy
Other Y&R spoilers say that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will dream of a fresh start, and this may involve Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), which whom she’s become closer lately. Or will it involve the hope of a reconciliation with Devon?
Across town, Victoria will struggle to get into the holiday spirit, which may have something to do with the fact that Billy is all over Lily these days. Victoria seems to have the jealousy bug, so this might have something to do with her “bah humbug” attitude.
#4 The Newmans & Abbotts Celebrate The Season
As Y&R viewers know, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a Newman family celebration, and it looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will give Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) a special Christmas present, but what will it be? Over with the Abbotts, Jack will receive a surprise guest for Christmas Eve, which sounds intriguing for sure.
Finally, Y&R spoilers say that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will begin a new holiday tradition. Rey and Sharon certainly have a lot to be thankful for this year, given Sharon’s long battle with breast cancer and their upcoming nuptials on New Year’s Eve. This is sure to be a special holiday season for Sharon and Rey.
It looks like we’re in for a great week! Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check Celebrating The Soaps often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news.
