Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the song, “The Devil Wears a Red Dress” was obviously written about Gwen Rizczech. Not only is the character devious and evil, but she wears a halter-style red dress while seducing Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Actress Emily O’Brien explained how Gwen’s dirty plan still keeps her hands clean.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Hatred Goes Way Back

DOOL spoilers reveal that Gwen obviously has an issue with the Deveraux family. While most of her hatred is targeted at Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), and Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) have also been hurt by the master manipulator. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, the actress didn’t give any details on what is motivating Gwen’s anger.

However, O’Brien did say that Gwen has wanted “this for so long.” So, whatever sin the Deveraux’s committed was a long time ago. It seems Gwen has wanted payback for many years, perhaps all the way back to childhood. That throws out the theory that Abigail did something to Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) loved ones during her “Gabigail” storyline. At the same time, it makes the secret daughter speculation seem even more likely.

DOOL Spoilers – Frustration And Desperation

The actress explained that it is clear Gwen is getting increasingly frustrated and desperate. She specifically mentioned the baseball bat incident. Not only is Gwen not getting everything she wants, what is working with her plan is going so slowly. This is making the villain take drastic action to speed along destroying Abigail, as well as the entire Deveraux family.

In fact, it is because of that impatience that she resorts to putting a new plan into action. The actress called it “harsh” and “severe.” Considering we already saw Gwen literally try to melt Abigail’s brain, we have to wonder just what else she’s capable of.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gwen Rizcech’s New Plan

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Chad already is suspicious of Abigail’s relationship with Jack Lambert DiMera (Brandon Barash). The seeds are already there and Gwen simply gives them more water. Gwen checks into the Salem Inn using Abigail’s name.

Then, Chad asks Gwen about the jewelry Jake gave her for Christmas. He specifically asks if the jewelry was bought for someone else, which Gwen confirms. Now, she knows it was bought for Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow), but she leaves names out of it. She knows that Chad will automatically assume that the “someone else” is Abigail.

DOOL Spoilers – Her Hands Are Clean

The actress called Gwen’s plan “brilliant” because she is doing Abigail dirty, yet her hands stay clean. O’Brien explained that Chad takes all these little pieces of information and connects the dots. It doesn’t matter whether the puzzle is put together correctly or not. What matters to Gwen is that “Chabby” is being destroyed. Plus, Gwen can sit there and look innocent, then when Chad “connects the dots,” the nanny will simply be there to “support” him.

“What’s so interesting is that she plants the seed to allow him to connect the dots and come up with it himself. She only coerces him to go along with that explanation. It’s pretty brilliant. She doesn’t actually go to him and feed it to him, like, ‘They’re having an affair,’ so she can have her hands completely clean and you’ll see how that plays out later.”

Gwen’s plan is successful and Chad is totally convinced that his wife is sleeping with Jake. Taking full advantage of the situation, Gwen pretends to “be there” for Chad. He falls for the bait and is seduced, but then ends up going missing. Is Gwen responsible for his disappearance or does he run away once he realizes what he’s done?
