B&B spoilers reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has experienced a lot of turmoil and conflict with his blended family. He has loved Brooke for many years, but his children have always been an issue. Of course, it doesn’t help that Thomas became obsessed with Brooke’s daughter, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

Ridge knew it was best for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson)  to come home for a while after his brain surgery. He made his wishes pretty clear to Brooke. At the same time, he didn’t want to have another argument about Thomas. They have done that a million times and they never come to an agreement. As a father, Ridge will do whatever he feels is best for his children. Meanwhile, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has her own daughter to worry about. It seems that Ridge used a different tactic on his wife this time and it just might have worked.

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, actor Matthew Atkinson talked about Thomas and Brooke’s new storyline. He believes that inviting Thomas to stay is Ridge’s idea and what he wants to happen. However, Thomas will be completely taken aback when it’s Brooke who asks him to temporarily move in. That is a huge step for Brooke considering everything Thomas has done for Hope.

Atkinson told the magazine that Brooke might see how much Thomas has been struggling. Thomas has a glimmer of hope that he could one day get forgiveness for his manipulative schemes. He didn’t really have that in mind as a possibility. So, if they both stick to the agreement and things go smoothly, Brooke and Thomas could have an entirely different relationship by next Christmas.

At the same time, how can Brooke really be assured that he’ll behave himself?

In the past, many of Thomas’ loved ones were fooled by him. He would claim to be better, to be over his obsession, and even faked a relationship to make it seem believable. Every single time, Brooke was able to see through Thomas. She knew that he was still fixated on Hope, but nobody wanted to believe it. Well, if she was right all those times, then she might also be right about Thomas no longer being a threat. Some people just have an incredibly accurate gut instinct. Let’s just hope that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) doesn’t try to interfere or sabotage Thomas.
