The Young And The Restless Spoilers Wednesday, December 30: Sharon & Rey’s Wedding Begins – Arturo Apologizes To Abby – Adam Shows Up

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 30, tease that in Genoa City, WisconsinFaith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will pick up sandwiches and pastries at Crimson Lights for their pre-wedding afternoon with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Tessa will note that she picked up sparkling cider for Faith, which is “just like the real thing.”

At Sharon’s place, Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will visit with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon. Arturo will have been recently ordained, so he’ll say that he can officiate the wedding. Rey and Sharon will be thrilled.

Next on Y&R, everyone will video chat with Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue), who will still be in Miami. Celeste will have a private talk with Sharon as well, and Rey and Arturo will clear the air about what happened with Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez). The brothers will get past what happened, and Rey will say that he’s happy now to be marrying the woman of his dreams.

Later, Faith, Mariah, and Tessa will arrive to give Sharon some TLC before the wedding, and the group will celebrate with the snacks and champagne (for the adults) and sparkling cider (for Faith). Tessa will unexpectedly get called away to a gig in New York, so she’ll be unable to sing at the wedding later, but they’ll plan on playing Tessa’s demo in her place.

Faith will get a text from her friend Jordan (Madison Thompson) saying that she’s curious about the “surprise” that Faith texted about yesterday. Jordan will say that she’ll come later and that she can’t wait to party. Faith will grin and look at the open champagne bottle sitting across the room.

Meanwhile, at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have a video call with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Connor will have a lot of questions for Chelsea about her operation and why she needs it. Chelsea will explain everything and assure Connor that the procedure is routine and that she’ll be fine.

Next on Y&R, Adam will show up at the Chancellor mansion to talk with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Adam will want to thank Chance for saving his life during the shooting, and he’ll tell Chance that he’s leaving Genoa City. Chance will say that there’s nothing holding them together now, and soon Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will materialize. Abby will insist that Adam stay away from Society tonight.

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will see Adam picking up food, and she’ll wonder whether Adam has anything planned for the wedding. Adam will say that he’s not like that anymore, and Phyllis will doubt that. Phyllis will wonder whether Chelsea knows that Adam still wants Sharon, and she’ll go on about that for a while, irritating Adam.

Next on Y&R, people will start to gather for the wedding at Society. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will show up, as well as Rey, Arturo, and Lola. Arturo will meet Chance, and he’ll congratulate Abby and Chance on their wedding. Abby will thank Arturo for his well-wishes, and together they’ll agree that everything worked out as it should.

Chance and Abby will decide to leave for home to spend the night together, while Nick calls Phyllis to ask her to bring Rey and Sharon’s wedding gift by the restaurant. It will then be time for the wedding to begin, as Faith, Mariah, and Sharon walk in. Tessa’s song will start to play, and Mariah and Faith will take their places at the altar.

Sharon will then walk down the “aisle” looking beautiful, and Arturo will say that they should begin. Just then, Adam will stealthily appear at the front door of the restaurant, but no one will see him. Finally, on Wednesday’s new episode of Y&R, back at Adam’s penthouse, Chelsea will impatiently text Adam wondering where he is.
