In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jack Wagner teased that his character will have some romance in the upcoming season. The actor said that Bill Avery has some flirting going on. He seemed pretty excited about it and as fans know, Bil hasn’t had any romance since AJ Foster (Jose Bessette). He teased that it’s a current character and she has red hair.

“He has a little bit of flirtation going on this year. There’s a little touch of mini romance going on. We’re starting to open up that part of this character because it really hasn’t happened for quite a while since A.J. Foster was on the show. It does open up Bill to go, wow, he is a viable bachelor in town…”

Allie Grant Has A Crush

When Calls the Heart season 8 spoilers reveal that the second new romance will be for Nathan’s niece, Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller). McGarry explained that Allie develops a bit of a crush and that Miller knocks it out of the park. He added, “Not only is she getting older, but she’s becoming a woman and he has no idea what that’s like. Allie kind of experiences a bit of romance this season herself, that Nathan is getting a little… He’s gotta deal with what that as a father figure in that scenario.”

McGarry also confirmed that the bond between Nathan and Allie does get deeper in season 8.

When Calls The Heart Season 8 Spoilers

Expect Bill to continue mentoring Elizabeth and Clara Stanton-Flynn (Eva Bourne). He will also still be the town judge. However, his storyline will expand in season 8 and all the actor could really say is, “it’s complicated.”
