Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) has always been a villain. However, her current stint is showing her more as a victim. Plus, the actress spoke to Michael Fairman and she focused on all the traumatic things that have happened to her character. Are we looking at another redemption story? It certainly sounds like it.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers & Updates – Ron Carlivati Loves Redemption Stories
Last year Days of Our Lives’ Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) talked to Soap Opera Digest spoilers about Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). The actor said that head writer Ron Carlivati loves redemption stories. It was after that teaser when we started to see Kristen try to make amends and prove she wasn’t all bad. We have seen other characters be reformed, but DOOL spoilers indicate that the scribe loves to try to turn around the worst of the worst.
DOOL Soap Opera Spoilers – Tamara Braun’s Interview
Tamara Braun and Emily O’Brien (Gwen Rizczech) had a Zoom video interview with Michael Fairman. Braun talked about Ava and her focus was on all the horrible and traumatic things that have happened to the character. She even went all the way back to Ava’s father drugging her, being held in a cage, being ripped away from the love of her life and having her son sold on the black market. The actress said that the trauma and abuse simply broke Ava and now that is the person we see on-screen… a very broken woman.
Days Of Our Lives News & Spoilers – Victimizing Ava Vitali
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that since Ava’s return, we have seen her threaten Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). However, she has been victimized a lot lately and by her own son, Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning). She was knocked unconscious, dragged to Charlie’s apartment, tied to a chair, gagged and drugged. Next week, Charlie will tell Ava that soon she will start hallucinating from the drugs and nobody will believe her story about him. He will also threaten to throw her in a mental asylum.
DOOL Spoilers – Exposing Son’s Crime
Then, we are seeing Ava trying to do the “right thing” by wanting to tell Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) about his secret brother. In a few weeks, she will inform others that Charlie told her he raped Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Plus, Charlie poisons Ava and then the villain seeks comfort from her enemy of all people. That’s right, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will be in the awkward position of soothing Ava.

Another Salem Bad Girl Turned Good On NBC Days?
It seems that Carlivati is trying to redeem another villain. We have seen it with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), somewhat with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Kristen DiMera. Now it’s Ava and eventually, Gwen will also be redeemed. While we commend him taking on the challenge, is redeeming Ava really possible? Can she be seen as anything other than a villain? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out.
