The specialist that Victor hired, who is now in Genoa City, Wisconsin, is someone that can play a meaningful role in the immediate and near-term future. Adam understands that Victor helped Chelsea, in what could prove to be a life-altering way.

The above factor hasn’t greatly cooled Adam’s (Mark Grossman)  vengeful jets or caused him to think a milestone moment has been reached in his relationship with his father. However, a hopeful sign has been telegraphed.

Who stands as the person most likely to defend Adam as Chelsea regains her ability to speak? Yes, the Moustache.

Viewers heard Egan’s voice, which represented Chelsea’s pained thoughts while Sharon was at the penthouse. That scene and Chelsea’s later groan implies that she will regain her ability to speak in the relatively near future.

So, if Chelsea blames Adam for her stroke, or for the overall stress she’s endured, Victor can serve as a peacemaker and possibly even the person who prevents a Chadam break. That, as much as the specialist’s role, can push Adam to make peace with his father.

Of course, Y&R fans aren’t expecting a full Victor-Adam reconciliation. But if achieved, the suggested outcome would represent significant progress.
