Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in Salem Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) is comforted by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) after learning that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has been shot. At the same time, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is supposed to come back to Salem, something Nicole is looking forward to. However, Eric could see the two embrace and get the wrong idea.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Nicole is excited that her husband is finally going to make it back to Salem for a visit. They haven’t had much success seeing each other. Despite their best efforts to plan everything, something always happens. This just isn’t on Eric’s end, but Nicole goes through it too. Last time she bought a plane ticket to see Eric in the Congo, but the flight was canceled.

DOOL Spoilers – Brady Black Shot

As Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is waiting for Eric (Greg Vaughan) to arrive home, she gets upsetting news. She finds out that Brady (Eric Martsolf) has been shot and his life hangs in the balance. He’s in critical condition and doctors aren’t sure if he is going to pull through. Nicole is beside herself with grief and worry. Brady and Nicole did have a romance at one time, but they have mostly been good friends. She will be understandably upset and breaks down.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers –  Hernandez Offers Comfort

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that during the week of February 1, Rafe will try and comfort Nicole. He can’t tell her that Brady’s going to make it because he doesn’t know that. The last thing he wants to do is give her false hope. Rafe knows that she really needs Eric after everything that has happened and now Brady is lying in a hospital bed fighting for his life.

However, Rafe offering Nicole comfort might be observed by someone and it could set off a chain of events that will change lives forever.

DOOL Spoilers – ‘Ericole’ Divorce

With Nicole getting the news of Brady’s condition and Rafe comforting her around the same time as Eric’s visit, it’s clear what’s going to happen. Nicole can’t sit around and wait forever for her partner to come home. We also know that Vaughan isn’t coming back to the soap, at least not for the time being. Writers have to separate them somehow so Nicole can move on. So, Eric comes home all excited to see his Nicole and finds her in Rafe’s arms. He will assume that she got lonely and moved on or he’ll be furious that he ever believed she would be faithful. He probably won’t stop to ask what’s going on. He’ll just walk away and leave Salem.

At some point, he’ll file for divorce and have the paperwork sent to her. He won’t find out until later that Rafe was comforting Nicole because Eric’s brother was on his deathbed! But by the time that happens, the divorce will probably be finalized and we will have a new couple… Rafe (Galen Gering) and Nicole.
