According to a press release from Crown Media, the Hallmark movie is part of the February 2021 programming block, “Love Ever After.” It centers on Elizabeth (Krakow), an engaged woman who faces complications and stress when all her plans seem to go haywire. A storm leaves her fiance stuck on the other side of town. Meanwhile, Elizabeth has to get all the last-minute details handled.

What makes it even more difficult is her fiance’s free-spirited brother is living at home again. However, as Elizabeth tries to get everything ready for her engagement party, David has an unexpected influence on her. She begins to question her decisions in life, including the man she agreed to marry.

Produced by Crown Media Productions, LLC, “It Was Always You” also stars Tyler Hynes. Kathy Kloves, Joey Plager, and Risa Shapiro serve as executive producers. The producer is Charles Cooper, Michael Robison is the director, and Kloves is credited with the script.

Hallmark Channel news confirms that Krakow is a family face to Hearties. She is the star of When Calls the Heart. Season 8 is premiering next month. Krakow’s characters in both WCTH and “It Was Always You” are both named Elizabeth. They both also seem to be conflicted in matters of the heart.

While the Valentine’s movie has an engaged woman questioning if she is making the right decisions, Elizabeth Thornton of the Hallmark TV show can’t seem to make a decision between Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry). The love triangle has been going on forever!
