Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, February 17, tease that it’ll be time to say goodbye to a beloved family member in town. Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) died after her faceoff in Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) hotel suite, so a funeral will soon be held.

Before that funeral begins, Chad DiMera (Bill Flynn) will do his best to comfort Abigail. Although there are still problems in Chad and Abigail’s relationship, Abby will appreciate having her husband to lean on during such a difficult tragedy.

In bed, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will have a big reaction after she gets some shocking updates. A quick look at Kate’s tablet will likely let her know Laura’s dead and gone. Once Kate shares the details with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), he’ll wonder if Laura’s death was really an accident and nothing more.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Jake Lambert’s Perspective

From Jake’s perspective, he’ll think there’s a good chance Gwen murdered Laura – and he’ll resolve to get some answers from Gwen before long. Meanwhile, Kate will offer her condolences to Abigail. She’ll undoubtedly want Abigail to pass her sympathy along to the rest of the family. Although Laura wasn’t Kate’s favorite person, this certainly isn’t the outcome Kate wanted for her.

As for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), he’ll continue to back up Gwen’s version of events. That should infuriate Abigail, who’ll feel like Jack’s letting his guilt get in the way of justice. It wasn’t Jack’s fault that he wasn’t there for Gwen as a child. Abigail won’t think any of that should be a factor since Gwen will be a murderer from where she’s standing.

After the family gathers for a somber funeral service, they’ll need to lay Laura to rest. That’ll bring some tense moments in the cemetery since Gwen and Abigail are gearing up for a fierce showdown. Wednesday’s show may set the stage for Thursday’s confrontation, so don’t miss all the drama.

DOOL Spoilers – Jenneifer Deveraux Leaves Town

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) will make her way out of town following the funeral. This will be Cady McClain’s final airdate for a while, but DOOL buzz hints that she filmed some additional scenes in advance that may be shown later.

Jennifer will fly to Boston and spend some time mourning on her own, so hopefully she’ll find the peace she’s seeking. As for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), she’ll be seeking a new deal now that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is out at Titan Industries. Days spoilers reveal that Gabi will make a new pitch to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), who may be wary for a couple reasons.

For starters, Gabi is…well, Gabi! She doesn’t have a great track record around Salem, so it’s understandable that Philip would have some concerns. Plus, Xander got this deal all worked out without Philip’s knowledge, so Philip may not love the idea of honoring the agreement.

Nevertheless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will fight hard for Gabi Chic and this deal she so desperately wants with Titan. Across town, Xander will skip the suit as he prepares to ask Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) a very important question. Look for Xander to be in a tank top as he gets down on one knee and asks Sarah to marry him in her scrubs.

It seems this will be a very impromptu proposal, so it’ll definitely catch Sarah off guard. As for Xander, he’ll be caught off guard by Sarah’s response! DOOL fans can expect Sarah to change the subject after Xander offers her the engagement ring. Sarah will suggest having cake instead, so Xander will be confused and a bit heartbroken.

Although Sarah still has some commitment issues to get past, Days spoilers say Xander and Sarah will begin planning their nuptials once next week rolls around. That’s good news for “Xarah” fans, so stay tuned to see if Xander and Sarah actually make it to the altar this time around!
