General Hospital Spoilers: Wes Ramsey Teases Peter August’s Final Fate

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that non-fans of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) are sensing the finish line is near for the bad guy—is he about to get his comeuppance?

He seems to have the perfect life locked up with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in Port Charles, NY. But he has told Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) all about his evil deeds and Stone Cold Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as well as Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) are slowly realizing the extent of Peter’s madness.

Is it inevitable that Peter leaves the canvas? His portrayer Wes Ramsey recently talked to Soap Opera Digest about his character and he said a couple of revealing things.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is Peter August Getting His Comeuppance?

Ramsey was asked about Peter’s situation, given the fact that the walls are closing in on him. Is Peter worried about anyone in particular? Ramsey said, “Obviously, Jason Morgan is the most dangerous and immediate threat at any given moment. He is the one person, based on their history, Peter has always tried to keep at a distance.”

And yet, while Jason is undoubtedly a real problem, isn’t Peter at all worried that Franco is hearing his voice in his brain tumor addled head?

According to Ramsey, “Not knowing how to predict what this could mean has kept Peter on edge, but considering he cannot control the outcome he has chosen to do what is necessary to discredit him altogether, using The Invader to exploit the return of Franco’s tumor.”

Then there is the sticky issue of whether or not Peter and Maxie will be married and happily coparent their baby. What does Ramsey see happening on the home front?

He said of Peter, “His virtually obsessive due diligence to make sure he’s tied off all loose ends is his strength and is the reason why he is confident that he has truly earned his dream-come-true scenario. He’s a smart and properly guarded man based on his life experience. He believes he deserves to have it all now, having survived all he has to be where he is.”

But they say that pride goeth before a fall and it looks like that motto applies in spades to Peter August right now. Will he get his comeuppance or live to fight another day?
