The Young And The Restless: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will pit Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless. Is Victoria trying to acquire Cyaxares Media in a hostile takeover move?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Thought It Was A Mistake On Victoria Newman’s Part To Get Rid Of The Newman Media Division

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that when Victor talked with Adam at Society about his new acquisition that he mentioned he thought Victoria had made a mistake by selling Newman’s media company, which became ChancComm. However what was done was done. Victor told Adam he felt that he needed something to occupy himself and he was buying Cyaxares Media for Adam to run the day to day operations, although it would operate independently of Newman Enterprises, although Adam would report to Victor.

Victor had asked Adam if it piqued his interest and at the time he told him he would consider it; he told Victor that once Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was better, they planned to leave Genoa City. Victor felt that it would take a long time for Chelsea to completely recover, and in the meantime Adam could run the company. Adam will likely accept his father’s offer since it is not only a goodwill gesture of a father to a son, making Adam feel more accepted by Victor, it will give Adam something where he can feel more a sense of control. Plus Victor knows it will keep him busy and that is his intention! The busier Adam is, and the more control he feels running the day to day operations of the new company, the more likely Adam is to stay away from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) which has been another concern of Victor’s!

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Angry At Her Father Once Again Favoring Adam Newman And She Wants Revenge

When Victoria hears about Victor’s purchase, and that once again he has favored Adam, she is very angry and she wants revenge! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember a few months back that Victoria bought out The Grand Phoenix from under Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) by paying off a loan she had taken, and basically wanted to put Phyllis out of business for pure spite! Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) paid it off and got Phyllis’ hotel back for her. It would surprise no one if Victoria tries a similar tactic to get revenge on both Adam and their father by making a hostile takeover move for Cyaxares!

Victor already had to remind his daughter that while he let her take over as CEO of Newman Enterprises, he still owns the building! He told her to be ruthless but he certainly didn’t intend for her to be ruthless against him or Adam by extension by this foolish move! Victoria may think she’s got the market cornered on cutthroat business tactics and ruthlessness, but she hasn’t seen anything yet. If Victoria is trying to out-Victor her father, she hasn’t seen anything yet! Victor will step in and put a stop to her trying to outmaneuver him – because as he reminded her, he is still the Newman in Newman Enterprises, not her!
