British Royal family news reveals it seems as though Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex really doesn’t have that many allies at Buckingham Palace. In fact, it looks like the Duchess of Sussex couldn’t help but respond to Princess Anne’s supposed criticism of her during her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey about who is supposedly “reinventing the wheel” behind closed palace doors. Clearly, both Princess Anne and Meghan Markle are trying to send each other a message, but instead of saying it directly, they are doing so indirectly with the help of the media. Is Meghan Markle Feuding With Princess Anne As Well?

As many royal fans remember, Princess Anne couldn’t help but take a dig at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle only a month after they announced that they would be stepping down from their roles as working members of the royal family. She spoke to Vanity Fair magazine and said that the younger generation of royals, such as Harry and Meghan, and maybe even Prince William and Kate Middleton, shouldn’t “forget the basics.” In other words, it’s best to stick to the script, which many people believed Meghan Markle wasn’t doing at the time.

Anne says that she gave this advice to the other royals: “Please do not reinvent the wheel, we’ve been there, done that.”

Of course, Prince Anne never mentioned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by their names, but many assumed that the jibe was towards them, given the timing of Megxit an Princess Anne’s interview.

British Royal News – Princess Anne’s Jibe At Meghan

Yet, during her sit-down interview with Oprah just last week, Meghan specifically said that she wasn’t trying to “reinvent the wheel,” which some people believe that she was referring to Princess Anne and her earlier comments.

Meghan said, “We never left the family and we only wanted to have the same type of role that exists, right? There’s senior members of the family and then there are non-senior members. nd we said, specifically, ‘We’re stepping back from senior roles to be just like several [other minor royals].”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
