General Hospital Spoilers: Roger Howarth Return Date – When Is Franco Back?

General Hospital: Roger Howarth General Hospital spoilers and GH comings & goings reveal that Roger Howarth is on a break following Franco Baldwin’s death. While it is still a mystery who the actor will be playing, we now have information on his return. Haworth is expected to return to the set in April, which means his hiatus won’t be that long after all. Keep reading to get the details.

General Hospital Spoilers – Franco Baldwin’s Death

GH spoilers reveal that for weeks, Franco’s death was hinted at by soap insiders. It ended up happening when Franco held Peter August (Wes Ramsey) hostage. At one point, Peter ended up getting out of his restraints. The two men struggled and the gun went off. Franco died from the gunshot wound while Peter slipped away.

GH Comings & Goings Spoilers – Roger Howarth Staying

Even though Franco died, Howarth soon announced that he was staying on board. He couldn’t give out any details, but was confident the writers had a good story planned out. One question fans have is if Howarth will return as Franco or someone else. While he is on break, Howarth is spending time raising money for a good cause, Feeding America. At the time, he spoke to Soap Opera Digest confirming he’s still a part of the long-running ABC soap.

“I just wanted to help out. You can go to www.feedingamerica.org and donate directly if you’d like, but if you’d like something in return as an incentive, I will say happy birthday or give motivational shout-outs or do inspirational jigs or whatever anybody is asking me to do…. The only rule is that I won’t denigrate or disrespect myself or anybody else… And if it works well, I’d like to continue to do it when I do go back to work, when I’m around other castmates who want to join in.”

General Hospital Spoilers – Roger Howarth Returns To Set In April 2021

General Hospital spoilers reveal that at the time of our original report, the length of Howarth’s hiatus was not known. We have a better idea now and SOD stated that the actor would return to the set in April 2021. That means we should see him in new episodes not long after that. However, we still don’t have any clue who Howarth will be playing.

GH Spoilers – Possible Scenarios

Even though Franco died on-screen, that doesn’t mean anything to soap writers. They bring back people from the dead all the time with some sort of explanation. So, Franco could end up being alive after all. There is also the chance that Howarth could be playing someone new who just happens to look like Franco. That might be hard for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Cameron Webber (Michael Lipton).

Speaking of Cam, he is already seeing dead Zander Smith (Chad Brannon). Could he spiral mentally and start seeing dead Franco, too? Or perhaps Franco will haunt Peter until he can’t take anymore and confesses. There are so many different ways Howarth could return to General Hospital. We will just have to wait and see what the writers have planned.

If Roger Howarth isn't going to be Franco then Drew Cain would be interesting character for him to play blow Peter character out of control to panic mold. Roger Howarth as Drew would be awesome and he would be out for blood knowing how Peter killed Franco.

  19. Guest says

Was hoping Roger would create a brand new character.
