General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Behind Delays Of Britt Getting A Doctor For Her Tremors!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) seems like an almost completely different person since the last time she was in Port Charles. Although her reappearance is at the behest of drug trafficker Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cyrus was getting rid of long time General Hospital employees like Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Bobbi Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) because they would know that Cyrus’ plan for his new drug to be distributed at General Hospital is not anything resembling normal business operations for a hospital.

General Hospital Spoilers – If Cyrus Renault Thought That Dr. Britt Westbourne Would Just Blindly Do His Bidding, He Was In For A Shock!

Even though Britt cut Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) hours and had Epiphany Jones (Sonja Eddy) removed from seeing patients directly, for the most part Britt has not used her position as Chief of Staff to get revenge on her old “friends” at the Hospital. Nor does she seem particularly power hungry. Instead, Britt was concerned with the large number of drug overdoses since she was in Port Charles last. At first she had no idea if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) was pushing the deadly drugs, but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) convinced her that Sonny didn’t deal with drugs at all and that Cyrus, the Chairman of the Board at General Hospital, was exactly who she was afraid he was, and his criminal activities were real and not rumor.

GH Spoilers – Dr. Britt Westbourne Was Finally Convinced That Cyrus Renault Was Dangerous And Threw Her Lot In With Jason Morgan.

It took quite a bit of convincing and really heartfelt communication between Britt and Jason before she finally chose a side. She would help Jason in whatever way she could to end Cyrus’ reign at General Hospital and Port Charles. Of particular concern to Britt was a drug that Cyrus had developed in the lab of the hospital. It was a new painkiller, and despite Cyrus praising it for its non-addictive properties, Britt ran her own tests and found out that the new drug is highly addictive and deadly, which meant the doctors and nurses of General Hospital weren’t going to be pressured to prescribe Cyrus’ new drug, But Britt must have raised one too many red flags with Cyrus, because he searched her files and found the research she did because when Britt went to give Jason the particulars, her research was gone! This is extremely worrisome for a couple different reasons.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is Britt Westbourne In Danger Now That Cyrus Renault Knows She Did Her Own Research And Reported Her Finding.

Of course, with the research gone, so too is any proof that Britt had of Cyrus drug trade. But even more concerning is that fact that now Cyrus is quite aware that went behind his back. He won’t like that, but instead of taking revenge perhaps he plans to let nature take its course. Since Britt has returned to Port Charles. She has been having tremors in her hands and they have gotten progressively worse. As viewers know, Britt has called a doctor in order to be treated as soon as possible, but the doctor let Britt know today that she needed to reschedule. If this is a serious as it seems to be, every day could make the different between life and death. Which begs the question, is Cyrus punishing Britt by creating as many obstacles as he can to Britt getting the care that she obviously is in desperate need of right now.

GH Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Will Clue Jason Morgan In About Her Troubling Symptoms!

Britt’s symptoms have become pretty much impossible to hide so it looks like she will confide in Jason in the very near future. Jason will even accompany Britt to see the doctor and as spoilers indicate at some point, Jason and Britt will even pretend to be married. Whether Jason offers or Britt asks for him being there, it seems that some romantic moments might be finally coming up for this pair. Let’s just hope Britt’s condition is treatable and that Cyrus won’t harm Britt or Jason going forward.
