Royal Family News: Queen Elizabeth Frustrated With Prince Charles

British Royal family news reveals Queen Elizabeth has every reason to worry about the future of the monarchy, and that’s not just because of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this month. It’s also because the Queen is reportedly “frustrated” with her son Prince Charles and puzzled by his behavior at times. If that weren’t enough, the Queen is also more “drawn” to her scandal-scarred son, Prince Andrew. Here’s what you need to know.

Queen Elizabeth Is Feeling Super Frustrated With Prince Charles Lately

In the new documentary ‘Queen Elizabeth: Love, Honour and the Crown,’ which is set to air on Britain’s Channel 4, royal experts say that Queen Elizabeth has never really understood her son Prince Charles, who is set to become the next King of England. If that weren’t enough, she might also have some doubt about whether or not he can lead the royal family after her time is done.

“To this day, she’s more openly affectionate to Andrew and more forgiving toward Andrew than she is towards Charles,” author Clive Irving said.

If that weren’t enough, Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, says one of the reasons why Queen Elizabeth might be more drawn to Prince Andrew is because he’s the “fun one” of the royal family. She says that he can be both noisy and bumptious but also very charming when he wants to be.

However, Andrew “can be arrogant and rude; he has some characteristics of his own father Prince Philip,” Seward said.

British Royal News – When Will Charles Become King?

Seward also added that Prince Charles is the polar opposite to his younger brother, Prince Andrew. With that said, Irving added in the program that Prince Charles unfortunately “will never live up to the queen’s sense of duty.”

And while there have been some reports that suggested Queen Elizabeth would like to step down from the throne, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. Seeing how The Queen, at age 95 is still in good health, it might be some time before Charles becomes King.
