It’s been quite an exciting year for royal fans. Not only was there one royal baby born (Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child, Prince Louis), but two huge wedding celebrations. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ceremony and reception took place, as did the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. If that weren’t enough, the British monarchy is also preparing for the arrival of yet another family member – Harry and Meghan’s future bundle of joy, little Baby Sussex.
While everyone can’t wait to meet Prince Harry and Meghan’s baby, there has been much speculation about what kind of life this royal tot will have. From his or her new home, school, and family life, here’s what we know so far.
5. Life At Frogmore Cottage
Llittle Baby Sussex will spend the first few years of his or her life at Frogmore Cottage, on the grounds of Windsor Castle. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking to raise their family outside of the hustle and bustle that is London. According to reports, Meghan is keeping a close eye on the renovations. She is planning on having an in-house yoga studio and has picked up eco-friendly vegan paint for her baby’s nursery.
4. Education
There are reports that suggest Meghan is keen on sending her child to an American school outside of Windsor Castle. The ACS Eghan International School in Egham, Surrey offers an American curriculum for students aged 4-18. Meghan wants her child to have a diverse education and to be “fully aware of his or her American heritage.”
3. Royal Cousins
Little Baby Sussex will have a lot of royal birthday parties to attend! That’s because the royal tot will be very close in age to his or her cousins. Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William, along with his wife Kate Middleton have three children: Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, who will turn 1 in April. Harry and Meghan’s tot will have lots of opportunities for play dates.
2. Grandma Doria
It’s been suggested that Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, will be spending the first few months of the baby’s life at Frogmore cottage with the royal couple. Doria is expected to help with all of the day-to-day duties with the newborn. We have a feeling that there will be plenty of grandma and me yoga sessions in Baby Sussex’s life!

1. Hands-On Parents
There is no doubt that Baby Sussex will be a well-loved child with two very hands-on parents: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. After all, we’ve seen Prince Harry light up each and every time he’s around small children and babies during his royal engagements and public appearances. It’s safe to say that he’s waited his entire life to be a dad. We can’t wait to see the royal couple grow as a family as they embark on this latest chapter in their lives.
