General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that alum Ryan Carnes (ex-Lucas Jones) has secured a job in an exciting Spanish film titled Valentino.
The film is directed by Alfonso Pineda Ulloa and Alejandro Ricaño and written by Juan Avila and Ulloa. Carnes will play the role of Steve.

Along with Carnes, the cast includes David Chocarro, Dulce María, Mauricio Argüelles, Artús Chávez, Daniel Haddad, Adriana Montes de Oca, Adriana Llabres and Tato Alexander.
Ryan Carnes played the role of Lucas Jones prior to the role being recast with Matt Trudeau.
Carnes debuted as Lucas in 2004, then left in 2005. In 2014 the character returned to GH with Carnes in the role. Trudeau debuted in late 2020.
Lucas is the son of presumed dead mobster Julian Jerome (William deVry) and the late Cheryl Stansbury (Jennifer Anglin) who left custody of Lucas to Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and the late Tony Jones (Brad Maule).
GH Spoilers – Ryan Carnes Played Lucas Jones
In 2005 Lucas disclosed his sexual identity as a gay man to his family and friends. He began dating a high school friend then eventually moved to Seattle.
In 2014, Lucas returned to Port Charles to work as a doctor at General Hospital. He was peeved that Julian was in town and tried to shun him. He entered a relationship with nurse Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), but Brad’s was scheming put damper on things.

In 2015, Brad proposed to Lucas, but they then discovered that Brad was technically married—leave it to Brad to forget a little thing like that!
Things were eventually resolved and Brad and Lucas married on June 13, 2016. They eventually adopted a baby, but that too was tainted with Brad’s deception.
It turned out that the baby had been switched with Brad’s full knowledge and it was Wiley, the son of Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).

General Hospital Spoilers – Matt Trudeau Plays Lucas Jones
Julian tried to fix things by killing Brad but Lucas was the one who ended up in danger and subsequently in a coma.
Today Brad is in prison for the baby swap, and Lucas is working hard at the hospital. Thus far he has been on the fringes of the action but that could all change if he gets caught up in Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setten) baby deception!
