British royal family news reports that Prince William, Duke Of Cambridge would like to have a private little chat with his chatty brother Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex before any public meeting takes place.

On July 1 they are expected to come face to face when they unveil a statue of their late mother Princess Diana. Together they commissioned the statue when relations were a lot more cordial between them.

That changed when Harry and his wife Meghan abandoned the royal family for a life of excess in America, and the tear was further ripped when the unrepentant couple aired family laundry to Oprah Winfrey last month.

Royal Family News – Will Prince Harry Travel To The UK?

Ahead of that meet up, a source told Us Weekly today that William wants to meet with his brother prior to the public appearance. No doubt they have some catching up to do.

“All eyes will be on them at the unveiling, critics will be analyzing their every move and how they interact with each other,” the source continued. “(William) doesn’t believe that it’s feasible for them to reunite in the public eye without showing signs of tension if they don’t thrash out their differences in advance.”

According to the site, the brothers commissioned the statue in 2017, “to mark the twentieth anniversary of her death and recognize her positive impact in the U.K. and around the world.” Diana passed away in 1997 at age 36 after being injured in a Paris car crash.

The source went on to say, “The statue is to reflect on Diana’s legacy, not their feud, and William wants to keep it that way.” But the insider stated that communication between the brothers has been “sparse” despite William trying to keep the lines of communication open.

Royal Family News – What Happens On July In The UK?

Part of the reason for the scarcity of communication is that Harry seems more intent on talking to the media about his family than actually talking to his family directly.

On March 7th, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dropped jaw dropping dirt to Oprah Winfrey in a sensationalized interview said to have been watched by 50 million people around the world.

According to a peeved Harry his relationships with his father Prince Charles and older brother are strained. What does it say about Harry’s intellect that he apparently he had no clue that whining about this fact publicly would not help him to mend fences?

He also complained that Charles had the nerve to stop his allowance after he fled the UK for a life of luxury in the US. No wonder William would like to have a word with him.
