The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Overplays Her Hand – Adam and Victor Find Winning Path

The Young And The Restless: Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is being driven by rage, rather than reason. As a result, she’s overplayed her hand and stands to face serious consequences.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was the first to learn that Chelsea has been concealing her recovery. Adam’s awareness is distinguished from Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) enlightenment. She was let in on Chelsea’s secret so that Chadam could be permanently smashed.

However, even Chloe is bothered by Chelsea’s attempt to frame Adam for poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). That says a lot, considering the infinite depth of contempt Chloe has for the man who she believes accidentally killed her daughter in 2013 and then didn’t report it as having happened.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Hears A Voice

Chelsea broke the character she’s playing, meaning the stroke victim who is paralyzed and can’t speak. While she didn’t move anything more than her mouth, Chelsea named Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) as someone who knows.

The cryptic comment was meant to stun Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and it worked. However, his resulting reaction leads to more being revealed than Chelsea ever wanted.

Egan’s character believes she’s taking a considered approach, but she’s wrong. Adam already knows more than Chelsea ever wanted him to. Nick’s suspicions will also be raised now as well.

Y&R Spoilers – Rey Rosales Is A Good Investigator

Rey is a trained professional. So, he’ll wonder if Chelsea actually can’t move. That opinion will be fueled by Sharon recently telling her husband that Adam is innocent.

Along with what Sharon considers to be a working fact, Rey will be forced to more deeply consider if Adam is innocent of poisoning him. As he and Nick were forced to theorize, Adam’s actions in saving Faith Newman (as now played by Reylynn Caster) didn’t add up.

If Adam was truly guilty of using Thallium, as part of a revenge plot against Rey, and was trying to save his own hide while on the run, then he wouldn’t have risked his escape by rescuing Faith.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Y&R Addresses Reality

As readers of this site know, Egan recently announced that she and her husband are expecting a child in August. That leaves a number of months for Chelsea’s storyline to play out on Y&R before Egan would take maternity leave.

The actor could film advanced scenes, which would be shown sporadically during the time when she is with her newborn. Alternatively, Y&R might have Chelsea go off-screen for awhile, which could mean a trip to a psychiatric facility and or a criminal sentenced served.

Chelsea poisoned Rey and framed Adam. Those crimes can’t simply be wished away. So fans will learn in the near future how Adam reaches daylight and is cleared, along with the grudging acknowledgments that Rey and Nick will have to offer.
