List Of Possible Godparents For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal Baby

Meghan Markle still has several weeks to go until she and Prince Harry get to meet their precious bundle of joy, but it looks like there are a lot of royal fans who can’t help but wonder who the little tot’s famous godparents will be. Luckily, we’ve got a list of some possible names floating around, along with some names that won’t make the cut. Here’s what you need to know.

Seeing how Meghan Markle has only been living in London for less than a full year, there’s a good chance she might pick one of her closest pals from her life back in Los Angeles to be the godmother of her baby.

A lot of fans believe that the top contender is her best friend, stylist Jessica Mulroney, who also served as her unofficial maid of honor during her wedding. There’s also a chance that Serena Williams might make the list for the top five choices as well, along with Meghan’s other best friend since college, Lindsay Jill Roth.

Other Royals And George And Amal Clooney Not On The List

Now, as far as who won’t be on the list, it includes Prince William and Kate Middleton. Reports in the past have indicated that the royals don’t like choosing other royals for the job as godparents, since close uncles and aunts will be in their lives anyway.

It’s also been noted that George and Amal Clooney won’t make the list either, despite the fact that they are very close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In fact, George recently went on the record to shut down the rumors himself.
