Hallmark Movies Now Announces May 2021 Schedule, Streaming Service Adds 17 ‘New Movies In Bloom’

Hallmark Channel news states that last month, we let Hearties know that the streaming service added several premieres to its themed lineup. Beating its own record this month, Hallmark Movies Now added 17 more titles to May’s programming lineup, Keep reading to find out what is coming to the feel-good, family-friendly, Christmas-obsessed streaming service.

Crown Media Takes Over The World

Hallmark Channel news confirms that some people not very familiar with Crown Media’s various offerings think all the TV channels and streaming services are the same. However, Hearties know that each channel and streaming service actually targets a specific subset of viewers. For television channels, there is the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama. The streaming service is named Hallmark Movies Now or HMN for short.

Crown Media doesn’t just have televised programming, either. Hearties are also treated with chocolates, wine, novels, board games, flowers, and much more.

Hallmark Channel News – HMN Catches Up To TV

In the past, the streaming service didn’t provide many options for newer movies. Hallmark Channel news suggests that when new titles were added, they weren’t new at all. Some viewers complained that the “premieres” already aired on television ages ago. Then, there was the slim library. Fans wanted more movies and fresh titles, so Hallmark granted your wish!

Last month, we reported that HMN added 14 additional titles to its Spring programming block, breaking a record for the streaming service. For May, it looks like we are going to get even more than ever before. Expect 17 new titles to be added to the May 2021 programming slate, “New Movies In Bloom.”

About ‘New Movies In Bloom’

Hallmark Channel news confirms that the network uses themed programming blocks throughout the year. The movies added to a particular programming slate will have something to do with the theme. For example, “Love Ever After” movies all had something to do with romance and/or Valentine’s Day. In April, the selections all focused on rebirth, renewal, or on something being created fresh.

For May, the theme is “New Movies In Bloom.” When fields of flowers finally spring up during Spring, it often indicates a fresh start. Even if the fields fill up with a wide array of pretty petal hues each year, they are not the same flowers. After winter is over, the new stems poke out of the ground and soon, we see a “fresh” flower. This is the same message that Hallmark Movies Now is sending with the May programming slate… a large selection of “fresh” movies added to the streaming service.
