Y&R comings and goings reveal fans will see a new face in “The Young and the Restless” as Maite Garcia joins the cast of the soap as Elizabeth Westerbrook. She’s expected to appear on the soap in the upcoming episode that’s set to air on May 24.

Garcia grew up in a bilingual and multicultural home in Los Angeles, California. Her father was Cuban while her mother was from Spain. The actress was a former cast member of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and she also appeared in “Entourage.”

Spoilers for next week’s episodes hint that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue her charade. Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will fight over something and it’s most likely about their children. Nick will be in protective mode especially when it involves Summer Newman (Hunter King), Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). Jack will also try to defend Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and the two will end up arguing.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) starts looking for a new place and he’ll be excited to share the news with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Although the latter thinks that moving together is a wonderful idea, she didn’t expect it to happen so soon. Given that she went through a tough divorce, she might find moving in with Billy under the same roof a bit scary. So, she’ll be surprised when Billy tells her that he’s doing some home hunting. Billy will find Lily’s reaction strange so he’ll start to wonder if there’s something wrong. Billy wants Lilly to be happy but will he be patient enough to wait until Lilly is ready?

Fans will also get their much-awaited confrontation between Kyle and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). The latter will head over to Kyle’s hotel suite to confront him about his affair with Tara.
