Royal Family News: Prince Harry Won’t Be At Diana’s Statue Unveiling Unless He Gets His Way

British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry is throwing another stink fit with his family, reportedly involving the sacred statue set to be unveiled of his late mother. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex is reportedly holding the July 1 unveiling ceremony hostage with his demand that he have his way or he won’t bother to show up.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Is Throwing A Fit Apparently

Prince William and Prince Harry announced in 2017 that they commissioned a statue to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. The statue is to be dedicated on July 1, 2021, in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace.

A lot has gone down in the last four years, much of it being nasty words lobbed by Harry about his family. He’s scorned his father’s parenting skills, is furious that his adult allowance was cut off, and in his latest rage-filled tirade actually trashed the First Amendment in a move that has some royal watchers questioning his solidity.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ripped the royals in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey and now he allegedly is, “demanding that Meghan be part of the official ceremony,” after she threw his family under the bus.

“She will not be able to attend in person because of the couple’s second child, but Harry is pushing to have comments prepared by Meghan included in the event or a video message featuring his wife released to the media the same day the brothers unveil the statue,” according to an insider who spoke to The Royal Observer.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Is Making More Demands?

If Harry doesn’t get his way, his family reportedly family fears that the unpredictable verbal land mine could do the “unthinkable” and refuse to attend the ceremony.

An insider said, “It is very possible that Harry does not return to the U.K. for the event. The cold shoulder Harry received at Prince Philip’s funeral is not helping. Harry was rattled not only by his family’s reaction but also by the negative media coverage he received during his short stay. Now he may bow out of the upcoming trip altogether.”

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Maybe a No-Show

“The design on the statue was signed off by William and Harry. And even after Harry left the U.K. he was kept up to date on the progress and received photos of the work taking place. What is happening now would break Diana’s heart,” a friend told The Royal Observer.

“Diana loved spending time in the gardens at Kensington Palace. It was her refuge and sanctuary. She would cut flowers from the garden for her desk. Her two boys picked the perfect place for the statue, now let’s hope they both are there when it is unveiled.”
