NCIS: LA Spoilers: Nell Jones Must Decide Her Future As Hetty Lange Returns

NCIS: Los Angeles spoilers tease that Intelligence Analyst Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith) will have to decide her future when Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) returns in the NCIS: Los Angeles season finale, “A Tale of Two Igors”.

NCIS: Los Angeles Spoilers – Hetty Lange “Drafted” Nell Jones To Take Her Place

NCIS: Los Angeles viewers will remember that Hetty drafted Nell to take her place while she went on a secret mission unexpectedly. From occasional video check-ins, Nell, the team, and viewers were able to deduce that Hetty again was in a combat zone because of the gear she was wearing and the background noises of battle. In the next episode, “A Tale of Two Igors” which is also the season finale, Retired Navy Admiral Hollace Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) has a stern message for Nell regarding her status with NCIS.

He tells her that she either has to “sign, or resign”, and cannot take Hetty’s position, because Hetty is on her way back! The implication is that Nell will need to return to her previous position within the NCIS team. NCIS: Los Angeles viewers will have noticed in recent episodes that Nell was starting to get just a tad burned out with taking over for Hetty, and indeed, had made some changes to her office that Hetty may or may not appreciate once she gets back. But then, Hetty appears to be quite fond of Nell so she likely won’t be too harsh on her for that. Nell just needed to streamline and organize things within Hetty’s eclectic workspace in order to make it function more properly. She didn’t throw out Hetty’s tea or her booze stash!

NCIS: Los Angeles Spoilers – A Kidnapping And A Shooting

Also in the next episode, there will be a kidnapping and a shooting. An associate of the recently deceased Anatoli Kirkin (Ravil Isayanov) kidnaps Investigator Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) because he needs his help with something. It’s doubtful it would have anything to do with a fashion show, which Kirkin would have been immensely involved in. Viewers will recall that Kirkin was killed in the process of saving Deeks’ life. NCIS: Los Angeles viewers know this cannot be good, especially as his wife, Special Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) is frustrated and heartbroken over their inability to conceive.

Plus, an old enemy has returned which has had Kensi all shook up. The remainder of the team, however, has another case to investigate – the shooting of a militarized dolphin equipped with a Russian microchip. There is certain to be something fishy about that case! Hetty will also show up, obviously which is what prompts Kilbride’s remarks to Nell about either signing or resigning because there’s only room for one Hetty in her position. However, Nell’s old flame – current flame – rekindled flame? Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) may save the day for Nell once again when he has an interesting offer for her. Nell will have a big decision to make before the day is over, and perhaps she may talk to Hetty for advice to help her make that big decision!
