General Hospital viewers would find it hard to believe that Peter could really survive what we have seen on screen, with blood pooling underneath his head at the bottom of the stairs. But there was a leaked script where Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), apparently in search of a loved one in tandem with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is in New York City with someone named “Hopkins” in a flight jacket who claims his sister and her baby had been kidnapped and are missing.

However, Anna might think Hopkins is Peter with plastic surgery – due to the story he tells about his sister and her baby. In the General Hospital episode of June 3, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) confirmed that Peter August was indeed graveyard dead after Finn threw him down the stairwell in a fit of anger, confirming to Liz that the only dose of antidote for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was the one that Peter threw off the roof!

The only way the real Peter could NOT be dead is if he used another invention of his father’s – a Peter August mask that he put on a double he paid to pretend he was Peter! Elizabeth, and Finn, begrudgingly made Peter’s body “disappear” and Elizabeth was the ringleader in the cover-up. Finn is family to her since he is her niece Violet Barnes’ (Jophielle Love)!

GH Spoilers And Rumors – Valentin Cassadine And Anna Devane Are Sent On A Wild Goose Chase

General Hospital viewers will agree on one thing – Valentin and Anna are sent on a wild goose chase looking for not only Louise August, who is now Bailey Lois Quartermaine (infant actors Teddy and Capri) but Peter! General Hospital viewers will recall that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) told Anna the same thing she told Peter; that crazy Fake Nurse Chloe Jennings (Kimberly J. Brown) kidnapped Baby Louise right after she was born! Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) and Maxie’s schemes worked perfectly, as now Valentin thinks he is a new father to Bailey Lois Quartermaine even as he is helping Anna look for Louise August, the fake nurse, and the late Peter August!

It is entirely possible that Cameron Mathison could play “Hopkins” who Anna and Valentin might bring in as Peter based on his story – but perhaps not until the “sister and baby” are found. On the other hand, “Hopkins” could be Fake Chloe’s brother! Either way, it sounds like these two interwoven mysteries of a missing Louise August and a missing Peter August might take the rest of the summer to solve because Maxie won’t know that Peter is dead because of Finn and Liz’s cover-up, and Valentin and Anna won’t know Louise is alive because of Maxie and Brook Lynn’s deal to protect the baby! Valentin will become attached to and fall in love with Peter’s daughter and won’t know it, besides!
