Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) worry level has been increasing. She realized that Tara’s desire to move to Genoa City, Wisconsin, was a pushed ruse. Harrison is the pathway into Kyle’s heart.
However, Ashland’s diagnosis means that Tara and Harrison will be tied to her his remaining months. That gives Kyle a window of time to marry Summer by August, as she intended.
Yes, these calculations are cold. But daytime drama is like that. Of course, Ashland could miraculously beat the odds, which would force further reactions by all involved on Y&R.

I think Ashland is faking his progress to draw Victoria to his web and she is too blind to see it.
Like him with Victoria. I hope they let him live
I have this feeling that Ashland isn't dying of anything I think he knew what Victoria was going to propose …and she fell for it I think he is getting revenge on Victor for what he did with him as he was having his heart attack. I can't shake the feeling he's playing them all ..he will end up with part ownership of Newman and get his "son" at the same time all thanks to Victoria !
oh I don't think he's dying at all …no man with his wealth and his supposed love for his "son" wouldn't do all he could do to be there to watch him grow up ..he has enough money to extend his life but he won't? He isn't dying at all ..he is after revenge on Tara and Victor Newman !

I believe Ashland is bringing everyone into his web of lies, which will be his revenge on so many people. When he has everyone where he wants them, he will open his web, and lives will come tumbling down. Love it. I hope Victoria is hit the hardest. Next will be Kyle. Summer will be gone, and Kyle will be devastated. Tara will leave, and Harrison will not be an Abbott. How heartbreaking for Jack and Kyle. Ashland will miraculously recover. Tara and Ashland back together with Harrison. Harrison is really Ashland's son. I think Ashland is threatening Tara to do this, or he will leave her. Interesting, love the story line. BUT PLEASE dump the whole stupid storyline with Amanda. It's so dam boring. Dislike it.
Ashland is not dying and Tara is bluffing. Harrison is more than likely not Kyle’s son. They are working the Newman’s to merge with Ashland’s company and he take over. Tara is working the Abbott’s for a Jabot take over. They are both scheming.
