The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Thursday, June 17, 2021 reveals in Los Angeles at the county jail where Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) reconnect through a glass partition. Liam is devastated that he’s losing her after he just got her back. Hope promises that he’ll never lose her. She says that somehow he has to find a way to make it back to her and the kids. They can never give up.

Liam prepares himself and Hope for the possibility that he may not come home. Hope needs him to believe that he will get out. There’s too much to lose if he stops believing. Hope says confessing took strength and character and she’s proud of her husband. Hope and Liam exchange “I love you’s” as the guard takes him back to his cell.

At Forrester Creations, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) tries to process his jailhouse conversation with Liam. This is the first time Thomas has confronted Liam about something and he hasn’t given excuses or tried to justify his actions. Thomas tells his father that it’s crazy that Liam asked for Thomas’s help in protecting Hope and the kids.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Blast Thomas Forrester

When Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrives, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tells her about the favor Liam asked of Thomas. Before she gets the details, Brooke blasts Thomas for confronting Liam in jail. Thomas says he had a right to confront the person who killed his best friend. He needed to hear the truth from Liam. Brooke says they need to focus on Hope and Liam right now. Thomas doesn’t believe Liam intentionally hurt Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero).

Ridge believes the true villain is Brooke’s buddy, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Brooke says Ridge should be more concerned with Hope, Liam, and the children. Thomas says Liam fears he could go to jail for a long time, so he asked Thomas to be there for Hope and the children. Brooke is annoyed that Thomas is now getting everything that he wants. Thomas says he could be jumping for joy that Liam is in prison, but he’s not taking advantage of the situation because he wants what’s best for the family.

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) visit Bill. Bill is still giving orders behind bars. He wants Wyatt to make sure the company doesn’t fall apart and he needs Justin to get him and Liam out of jail. He demands they stay focused and not crumble under pressure. Wyatt tries to understand how both his father and brother ended up in jail. What was Bill thinking by leaving the scene?

B&B Spoilers – Bill Spencer Refuses To Apologize

Bill won’t apologize for protecting Liam, but says the worst mistake was Liam confessing to Hope. Bill will do whatever it takes to get him and Liam out of jail. They all wonder what Vinny was doing out in the middle of the road at night. Justin says their confessions to getting rid of evidence and leaving the scene are the reasons the police believe they had motive to kill.

Bill orders Justin to do legal gymnastics and get them released. Justin claps back at Bill for leaving him in the dark since the beginning. He doesn’t need a lecture from Bill and he’s been running the company without Wyatt’s help.

Bill fears for Liam’s future. He wishes Liam had just listened to him and not gone to the police. Wyatt says Liam couldn’t do it because he’s a good person. Bill says Liam’s good character could mean years in prison.

When Hope drops by Forrester, Brooke urges her not to forget about her future with Liam. Hope assures her mother that she and Liam are never giving up on each other. Ridge is proud of Liam for taking care of his family, but he’s realistic that Liam may be going to jail for a long time. Thomas says the fact that Liam asked for his help shows how much he loves Hope. Hope prays that somehow, someway Liam will get out of prison.

As the walls close in, Liam reminisces about his life with Hope and the kids and is plagued by memories of the accident.
