“Coronation Street” spoilers show newcomer Charlotte Jordan has revealed that her character Daisy Midgeley is on a mission of stealing Alya Nazir’s long-term partner Ryan Connor.

When Ryan’s DJ gig at Salford gets canceled, Daisy is on the move of comforting Alya’s (Sair Khan) lover. The barmaid ushers her in the backroom at the Rovers Return and offers him drinks, but Alya calls in to ask for his boyfriend’s whereabouts. The vile Daisy convinces her she doesn’t know where he is.

When Daisy returns, she offers Ryan two cocktails with absurd names which suggest he needs to choose between her and her girlfriend Alya, who has been nagging him about Daisy going after him.

Speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, the actress said: “Do you want the Boring Naggy Girlfriend… Honestly, it was something ridiculous, or the Night of Wild Passion, is what I had to say!”

“The brazenness of that. She’s just gunning for him and I think she uses sex as a weapon and so she’s just going for it,” she revealed.

The actress pointed out that both characters are fairly intoxicated in that scene so Daisy can get away with saying nonsense words and the alcohol is to be blamed.

After hitting the booze, the flirty Daisy advances her schemes and places her hand on his leg, suggesting he should cheat on his current girlfriend.

“She’s ultimately a chameleon and she’s a survivor, so she’s got loads of different sides, and I think she’ll show various people different sides depending on what she wants,” she told Express.co.uk.

Corrie producers had to think of a creative way to make Daisy’s flirty scenes realistic despite the limitations on the set caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“And so my boyfriend got the long-awaited call he was hoping for for his entire life,” Jordan teased. They used Jordan’s real-life boyfriend’s thigh instead of the actor, Prescott, to adhere to the health protocols.

“We’re shooting socially distanced, we can’t touch props, we can’t touch humans, we can’t touch anything,” Jordan revealed.

Jordan’s boyfriend is not an actor by profession but he grew up watching the soap.
