One person that is determined to get rid of her is Phyllis Summers. Actress Michelle Stafford explained the real reason Phyllis is on the warpath. She said that Sally reminds Phyllis of herself when she was younger.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Sally left Los Angeles (and The Bold and the Beautiful) after her deceptive scheme backfired. She faked a deadly disease in order to get closer to her ex, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). He spent time with Sally so she didn’t have to die alone. However, the scheme began backfiring, especially when Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) realized that Sally wasn’t dying at all. She even kidnapped Flo and tied her to a radiator. Meanwhile, Sally tried to seduce Wyatt so she could end up pregnant. However, it all fell apart when he saw Flo’s SOS message on Sally’s rear end.

Wyatt told Sally to go far away and not to bother him or Flo ever again. She agreed and went to Genoa City for a fresh start. However, it seems that Sally has learned nothing and is still manipulating to get what she wants.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Fixation

Phyllis has been determined to prove the truth about Sally to everyone. However, it seems as if it’s turning into an obsession. One of Phyllis’ goals was to keep Sally away from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). There was also the battle in the workplace between Sally and Summer Newman (Hunter King). As always, Phyllis stepped in to help her daughter and she is doing it again with the Milan scheme.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that fans understand Phyllis going to war for her daughter. However, the issue that Phyllis has with Sally seems to be much more than what meets the eye. It turns out that’s because there is a hidden reason why Phyllis wants Sally gone and it has nothing to do with Summer or Jack. It all has to do with how Phyllis was when she was younger. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Stafford explained,

“Phyllis doesn’t want Sally around at all because she reminds Phyllis of herself back in the day.”

Y&R Spoilers – Eventual Truce?

Phyllis would never admit to anyone that’s the reason she’s on the warpath. However, it does make sense when you think about Phyllis bringing up her past recently. She admits to doing a lot of crazy things and making plenty of mistakes. In fact, Phyllis was recently reminded that she was granted forgiveness when she didn’t deserve it, much like someone else in Genoa City.

Even though Phyllis and Sally will probably never be friends due to what’s happened with Summer, they could end up becoming civil in the distant future. They might eventually even call a truce. However, it usually takes something pretty extreme to make that happen, such as battling a mutual enemy. It would be interesting to see what the dynamic between these two would be if they were forced to work together. Maybe we will find out one day.
