Royal Family News: Sarah Ferguson Defends Jack Brooksbank After Bikini Photo Scandal

British royal family news reveals that Princess Eugenie’s husband found himself in a bit of hot water in recent days. He was photographed on a boat in Capri with several other women while his wife stayed back in dank England taking care of their 5-month-old son, August.

Did we mention the women were either topless or in bathing suits? It gets better, Jack caught fresh heck for posing with one of the scantily clad women with his arm around her and his hand perilously close to one of her, erm, assets.

Jack Brooksbank Is Looking A Bit Sheepish

Surprise, surprise, who of all people but his mother-in-law came to his defense. Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, leapt to defend her son-in-law Jack and perhaps it’s because she has some personal experience in that particular department? During her marriage to Prince Andrew scandal was their middle name.

The Duchess of York helpfully explained that Brooksbank was simply, “doing his job.” This innuendo plagued explanation only served to bring on more smirks and snarks about the grinning man cavorting with half naked women.

And yet there is truth in Sarah’s remark. Jack is an ambassador for Casamigos booze label. It’s a hard job but someone has to do it.

Ferguson said on BBC One’s “The One Show” Monday, “Jack … is a man of such integrity. He’s just one of my most favorite people. I call him James Bond actually.”

“He’s just a superhero in my book, and he’s a great father, a fabulous husband, and he’s never at front of house. He always likes to be at the back.”

We’re not sure what that means, but maybe it has something innocent to do with his liquor job.

Jack Brooksbank’s MIL Has His Back

Ferguson went on to angrily blast Daily Mail for publishing the photos without proper context, saying, “For them to make this story is completely fabricated. He works as an ambassador for Casamigos, and he was on doing his job, and so, I think it’s really important that we clarify that for Jack’s sake.”

We can clarify the story further, for Jack’s sake.

Jack was photographed boating, swimming and drinking wine off the coast of Capri with a couple of models, Erica Pelosini and Maria Buccellati, Casamigos global director Rachel Zalis and an as yet unidentified topless woman.

Furthermore he was said to be in town for the UNICEF Summer Gala which most certainly wasn’t take place on the cozy little boat.
