General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Sonny Corinthos Is Already Getting Flashes Of Memory

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sonny has already been getting flashes of memory in recent episodes of General Hospital. He may not regain his full memory until November sweeps, since that seems to be an excellent time for a storyline like this to take place! Sonny’s portrayer, Maurice Benard has been quoted that when Sonny returns, he will feel the full force of the betrayal of his wife and his best friend. But in the meantime, he has fallen in love with Nina, and even though she also perpetrated a betrayal of sorts by not telling him what she knew about him and his past, those very feelings he has for her as “Mike” may cause him to be easy on her. Besides, even if Nina knows about Carly and Jason she wouldn’t want to hurt Sonny’s feelings by telling him and that may be what saves her from his wrath!

GH Spoilers And Rumors – Sonny Corinthos Will Likely Have Past And Present Memories And Feelings

General Hospital viewers can imagine that when Sonny’s memories do return fully, he will likely experience a mishmash of both past and present memories and feelings. He will certainly realize that the life he has been living as “Mike”, which he will realize comes from his father’s watch he was found wearing, has been very different than that he lived as Sonny Corinthos, mob boss! General Hospital viewers can expect it may be a confusing time for Sonny, and he may not remember every single detail of how he got from Port Charles to Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania. He was nearly frozen to death when Pennsylvania State Trooper Ralph Finchley (Tatum Shank) found him in a snow bank in the woods, apparently some distance from the river. There may be a gap between then and when he fought with Julian Jerome (William DeVry) on the bridge where Julian met his death. Sonny lost his suit jacket which would have had his gun, his identification and his cell phone and those were never found.

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Sonny Corinthos Has Fallen In Love With Nina Reeves And Those Feelings Won’t Automatically Die

General Hospital viewers know that just because Sonny gets his memories back of his past doesn’t mean his more recent present will just die and go away. That includes his feelings for Nina, as well as his feelings for the Caulfields, Phyllis (Joyce Guy) and Lenny (Rif Hutton). The Caulfields gave him a home and a job when they didn’t know him from Adam, and that fact won’t be lost on Sonny. Sonny will remember his time working at the Tan-O and his past and present will meet, although as previously mentioned he may have some gaps in between. General Hospital viewers know as far as love, Sonny will have to make a choice between Carly – his past – and Nina – his present. That won’t be hard once he finds out his wife back in Port Charles married his best friend, and not only that, had him declared dead rather quickly!

GH Rumors And Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Does Not Handle Betrayal Easily

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sonny does not handle betrayal easily! That part of Sonny who was a mob boss will understand the reasoning behind Carly’s quick action to have him declared dead, and may even understand the notion that Jason had to marry Carly to keep her from being killed. Sonny will return likely into a turf war that is now with the Novak crime family, with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) no longer being an issue. But that doesn’t mean that Sonny will be happy with or agree with the marriage! He will take it as a betrayal by both Carly and Jason, thinking that there could have been a different solution – eliminating the Novaks before they could start a turf war, for instance! General Hospital viewers know that Carly hates Nina – and even though he loves Nina and has to grapple with those feelings, it won’t come as a surprise if Sonny marries Nina partly to get back at Carly for marrying Jason!
