Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – EJ DiMera Made A Deal With Xander Cook

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that EJ made a deal with Xander – he offered to get him out of his legal troubles if he would return the million or so dollars that he’d paid him not to kill Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney)! Xander ultimately took him up on the deal, but EJ had also promised to reinstate his job at Basic Black, since it is a subsidiary of DiMera Enterprises! So far, that hasn’t happened and Xander is getting upset that EJ hasn’t kept up that part of his bargain.

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, however, that EJ really doesn’t have any hiring power at Basic Black – that is up to either Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) or Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Neither of them particularly wants to give Xander a hand up by giving him his job back right now! After all, Xander, at the behest of Sami, was the one who exposed his one night stand with Nicole at her and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) party celebrating their first anniversary, which led to their pursuit of a divorce! As for Brady, he just hates Xander and he always has!

DOOL Spoilers – EJ DiMera May Not Realize Who He Is Messing With

Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Xander was a mercenary for many years – acting as a henchman for EJ’s sister Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) much of the time. Mercenaries aren’t Mr. Nice Guys – they murder, loot, plunder and kidnap for the price the highest bidder will pay to them! Maybe EJ doesn’t realize exactly who he’s messing with, and Xander hasn’t lost any of his street skills! From the moment Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) disappeared, Xander’s had nothing to lose and acted every bit the part. Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that recently EJ had a job all lined up for his son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) that Johnny wouldn’t take if it were the last one on earth! Johnny has more altruistic dreams – he wants to make movies, not business deals! Xander has more experience than that short term gig at Basic Black – for several months he was co-CEO at Titan Industries and ran it with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson)!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Xander Cook Plays Hardball With EJ DiMera For A Position At DiMera

Days of Our Lives viewers know that Xander has NO fear of EJ DiMera – he’s just another soft-handed paper pusher with an attitude! EJ may think he’s powerful and able to strike fear in anyone who opposes him but he’s nothing compared to his sister! EJ has a temper, but he doesn’t have the crazy of his sister Kristen. Xander has every intention of holding EJ to his word regarding getting Xander a job, and a good paying one. He knows he’s better with negotiations than anyone DiMera. Just because his name isn’t DiMera doesn’t mean he can’t do the job of a DiMera – he doesn’t have to have the approval of the DiMera board of directors for EJ to keep his word and give him a good position. Days of Our Lives viewers know that if Xander can’t negotiate he can always leverage – and he will dig deep to find something to hold against EJ if he doesn’t keep up his part of their bargain. Xander’s freedom won’t be worth much if he doesn’t have food or a place to live, after all!
