The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) Spoilers and Recap August 25: Steffy Freaks Out Over Finn’s Betrayal

The Bold & the Beautiful spoilers and recap for Wednesday, August 25, 2021,  opens at the airport where Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is running late for her flight with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to San Francisco. Steffy is having a hard time leaving the kids, because she’s imagining all the terrible things that could go wrong. Hope assures her that it will be fine and they’ll be home tomorrow.

Steffy says that Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) arrival caught them off guard and now she and her husband have to protect the family from the most dangerous woman she’s ever met. The pilot announces that they’re holding the plane for weather in San Francisco. Steffy wonders if it’s a sign that she should go home.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Finn Goes to the Dark Side

At the cliff house, Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) blows up at his father for suggesting the crazy idea that they allow Sheila to see the baby. Jack Finnegan (Ted King) says they have to allow Sheila access to protect the family and keep her away for good. Finn says his in-laws are doing everything they can to make sure Sheila never comes around. Finn tries to convince Jack how dangerous Sheila is. Seeing and holding the baby will give Sheila an even stronger connection to the family. He puts his foot down: there’s no way he’ll allow Sheila in his house and then lie about it. He wonders why Jack is pushing so hard for a grandparent visit.

Jack argues that Sheila will be grateful and Finn can control the interaction. Jack begs his son to make it happen. The visit will be one and done and then they can move on with their lives.

B&B Spoilers: Sheila Gets Her Way

Sheila plots her trip to Malibu from Los Angeles. She’s excited to hold her grandson. She wants to look perfect for the moment the baby sees her and knows he’s with his grandmother.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) is ashamed that he let his wife believe she was the problem when it was really his physical inadequacies that stood in the way of their intimacy. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) says that he could have told her the truth months ago and it would have been okay. Eric was too embarrassed to even speak the words erectile dysfunction. Eric breaks down in tears when he says he can’t make love to his beautiful wife. He beats himself up that he didn’t tell her because he couldn’t talk about it.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Quinn is Shocked

Quinn says the stress of their lives could affect anyone’s sex life. Eric believes that the situation will never change. The man Quinn came home to is not the man she married. Eric is afraid that he’ll never be able to act on his desires for her again. He apologizes profusely and she embraces him.

Quinn says that Eric’s revelation doesn’t change the way she feels about him. His compassion and understanding is what drew her to him. They didn’t have troubles in the bedroom until she screwed up and broke promises. She damaged his faith in her. Eric takes all the blame for driving the wedge between them. He only told her the truth in order to stop the divorce.

Quinn wants to move forward. Eric always stood by her, so she’ll always support him. They’ll find specialists to help him and get through this together as husband and wife.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) go over contracts at Forrester Creations. Ridge says they’re lucky to have Carter’s business mind. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) observes that Carter always manages to close the deal. Carter tries to prepare them for the delicate subject of one deal that just fell through: Eric called off his divorce.

Brooke and Ridge hit the roof over Eric’s change of heart. Brooke suspects Quinn has been putting the screws to Eric, but Carter says it was all Eric. Quinn was as surprised as anyone when she saw that her portrait had been placed on the mantle again. Carter says Brooke and Ridge should find a way to be happy for Eric, because Carter is.

Brooke prods Carter to say how he really feels. Carter says Eric sees a beautiful, accomplished woman who gives excitement to his life while he gives Quinn a sense of stability and comfort. When they were good together, they were happy. Brooke notices that the way Carter talks about Quinn and wants to know if he’s fallen for her. Carter deflects.

Brooke and Ridge leave to talk some sense into Eric. Carter remembers his tearful goodbye to Quinn. Sheila gets a text from Jack to come to the house. Sheila knocks on the door and Jack orders his son to let her in so they can be done with her.
