General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Grey Is His Mother’s Favorite

General Hospital’s Cyrus Renault (ex-Jeff Kober) hates the fact that Martin is his mother Florence Grey’s (ex-Annie Abbott) favorite child. Cyrus was and unruly teen who killed their father after an argument and Florence never got over that. Florence believes her life would be so much different if her husband hadn’t been killed years ago. Cyrus’s decision to go into the mob life and to push drugs only reinforced Florence’s beliefs. Cyrus has used his position to manufacture and transport drugs all over the country. Cyrus came to Port Charles to take over Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) territory. Cyrus has caused his niece to go into a coma and she may never come out of it. Cyrus has no remorse for anything including his father’s death. Florence is afraid of Cyrus and wants nothing to do with him. However, Florence loves and trusts Martin because he takes care of her and makes her feel safe.

Martin wasn’t close to Cyrus because of his business. However, Martin would love to get to know Laura and be close to her. Martin has made a few mistakes when it comes to his relationship with Laura. General Hospital’s Martin and Laura are going to have some time together thanks to Cyrus’s threat. Martin wants to get close to Laura and the two of them are going to be in custody alone. Martin and Laura will have time to discuss everything that he has wanted to know and to bond. Will the siblings come out of custody as true siblings? Will Martin and Laura be even more united against Cyrus when they return to Port Charles? Will Laura have a brother that she can be close to and rely on once they return?

Laura and Martin could be very close if they can get past the issues surrounding Cyrus. Laura wants to trust Martin and he wants to connect with his sister. Is this trip exactly what they need to bond as sibling?
