When Xander decides to honor his part of the agreement, it will come a bit too late. By the time Xander goes to retrieve the money, it is gone. Someone clearly stole it and Gwen is probably the first person that Xander suspects. However, that thought might go out the window when EJ gets fed up with Xander’s mind games. EJ is determined to get the $1 million back even if he has to make a death threat.

EJ knows that threatening to kill Xander won’t get him what he wants. There are not a lot of people that Xander cares about, so EJ probably threatens to kill Gwen or Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).

If EJ threatens to kill Gwen, that certainly would motivate Xander to find the missing $1 million. During the week of September 6, Bonnie’s wedding day arrives. After neutralizing Calista by paying her $1 million, Bonnie thinks her problems are over. However, Bonnie’s world is about to come crashing down on her.

Xander figures out that Bonnie is the person who stole the bribery payout. So, Xander crashes Bonnie’s wedding and demands the money be returned to him. Around the same time, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) makes a shocking discovery. Plus, Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) realizes that some people never change. It sounds like EJ will get the $1 million he wants so badly while Xander will be Gwen’s hero.
