Prince William And Kate Middleton are moving. The monarchy has endured a particularly hard year, what with the pandemic, the numerous claims made against the RF by the Sussexes, Prince Philip’s passing and the recent scandal involving Prince Andrew. Her Majesty went into mourning for two weeks following her husband’s death, also withdrawing from royal duties at the time.
Presently, Queen Elizabeth the II is set to make a number of public engagements in the coming months, sometimes alongside her children Prince Charles and Princess Anne. As the Monarchy prepares to undergo important changes in the future, the Cambridges are positioning themselves to take on a more senior role at the heart of the Royal Family.

One of the ways that Prince William and Catherine are preparing for their future roles is by planning to move closer to the Queen.

A move to the Windsor neighborhood is seen as a strategic and important move for the Cambridge couple, as it would bring them much closer to the Queen. It would also represent a meaningful move by the Cambridges to take on more senior roles as members of the RF.
Royal sources believe that the Queen will be spending most of her time at Windsor Castle after she is done with her vacation at Balmoral. This means that Prince William and Catherine’s move to the area would mean they would be able to see the Queen more often.
The royal family will predictably be making major changes in the coming years, and Prince William, as the future King, and Catherine, as the future Queen Consort, will be at the heart of such a change.

Prince William And Kate Middleton Meeting In The middle
The couple are also said to be considering locations that will not only fit them as working royals, but will work for them in raising their children as well.
The royal insider shared: “Anmer Hall made sense while William was a helicopter pilot in East Anglia and it was useful for Christmases at Sandringham, but it doesn’t really work any more. It’s a little too far away for weekends, but Windsor is a perfect compromise. They are eyeing up options in the area.”
Currently, the couple is splitting their time between their London home, Kensington Palace, where their offices are based, and their country home Anmer Hall.
