The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) can not officially extend her name. John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) did marry her at the ever-beautiful Forrester mansion setting. However, Steffy’s hesitancy to file the marriage paperwork lingers.

Initially, Steffy said that the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) uncertainty was the reason why a trip to the Los Angeles County Courthouse did not happen the day after the wedding. However, Finn has since rebuked his birth mother and followed the other directives Steffy set in place.

So, it is now fair to ask what Steffy is waiting for? Filing the marriage documents would strengthen Sinn’s union. Not doing so leaves a gap that Sheila can potentially exploit.

Steffy is surely the decision-maker in this marriage. Considering the highly unusual nature of what transpired at the wedding reception, that statement is not a knock.

Instead, Wood’s character has the experience and knows how Sheila must be handled. Steffy is protecting Finn and their son from this legendary daytime villain based on Sheila’s deep criminal rap sheet.

Of course, Steffy and the other people who suffered direct or collateral damage have no way of knowing how many victims exist. Regardless, Steffy is determined to block Sheila from damaging her marriage, which is the first target, or the Forrester family.

Finn told Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) that he is obligated to abide by his wife’s wishes. It did not take long for Finn to reach that conclusion after being confused by Sheila following her initial surprise reveal.

Steffy told her husband that she understands his mixed feelings about his birth mother. Paris has been more direct, siding with Finn over Steffy because of the crush she has developed on him.

So, with Finn recognizing Sheila’s unbalanced state of mind he can assure Steffy that she can feel confident in legally securing their marriage.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Sheila Carter Just Getting Started

Sheila tried the easiest route first. She made repeated pleas to Finn for involvement in his life. Sheila also wants access to Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Samantha Worden and Piper Harriet).

Steffy did not fall for Sheila’s fallback emotional pitch, where she had the gall to ask for her so-called daughter-in-law’s help. That served to throw down the gauntlet and set Sheila off.

Finn is grateful Steffy defended their family. As the fall flows he will also be glad that his wife remains alert and encourages him to be vigilant.
