Now that Ciara has her memory back and she is with Ben again, the Salemite feels she needs to make up for lost time. So, this is why she is suddenly wanting a child. While it seems very fast for viewers, when you think about how long they have been together before that, it really is just the next chapter for “CIN.

When Ciara brings up having a child this time, though, Ben balks. Ciara doesn’t understand why Ben suddenly is against having a child.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Victoria explained to Soap Opera Digest what is going through Ciara’s mind. Due to Ben never once expressing hesitancy in their other family discussions, Ciara feels that she was tricked.

“… she’s a little butt-hurt about it. She’s surprised because they’ve had conversations about having babies before and he’s always been on board and she kind of feels like he tricked her and he’s taking on this rollercoaster of ‘Yes’ and then ‘No’ and she doesn’t know really what to expect from, so she’s a bit confused.”

DOOL Spoilers – Getting Honest

During the week of September 27, Ben finally gets honest with Ciara. Ben explains why he is suddenly so hesitant. It was one thing when they were talking years in the future. Now, they are talking about actually creating a life right now. Plus, with all of the references about owning up to one’s past, Ben is being re-haunted by the terrible things he has done. So, this plays a part in it as well.

Once Ciara learns the real reason Ben is so hesitant, she is understanding. Then, Ben has a nightmare about his future son. So, this will only make Ben even more reluctant to have a child. Ben doesn’t share the details of his nightmare with Ciara, so she once again has hope that they can work through this. What exactly is this nightmare and is it just a mind working through his fears? Or could the nightmare actually be a premonition?
