EastEnders Alum Stephen Lord Joins Coronation Street

“Coronation Street” has recast former “EastEnders” star Stephen Lord as Seb Franklin’s biological father named Tez. How will he help bring justice to his son’s untimely demise?

Actor Stephen Lord previously played Jase Dyer from 2007 to 2008 in the BBC One soap until his character got killed by the gang leader Terry Bates (Nicholas Ball).

Happening on October 8’s episode, Stephen will step in Weatherfield as Tez following his ex-wife Abi Franklin’s (Sally Carman) disappearance to avenge her son’s Seb (Harry Visinoni) murder after the real culprit Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) was set free.

It comes after Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) reports Abi as missing to the police after the latter did not respond to all his calls, including that of Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor). Kevin is anxious Abi might have returned to drugs to numb her suffering.

However, Kevin is notified from his bank that £5,000 has been withdrawn from his and Abi’s joint account, which makes him believe Abi is in the Dog & Gun pub to buy drugs.

Kevin heads to the pub in desperation to find Abi but bumps into someone dangerous instead, what to watch reported. Kevin enters the pub with a photo of Abi in his hand to ask the regulars if they have sighted her.

When he spots Tez, he tells him about what happened to Seb and the trial and asks him about Abi’s whereabouts but Tez dismisses his worries saying he doesn’t know either. Is Tez telling the truth?

Corrie Spoilers – Kevin Webster Is In Danger

According to Coronation Street spoilers, Kevin feels he’s a step closer to finding Abi when he meets Tez and so he’s convinced that Tez is lying about Abi’s whereabouts.

The situation takes a drastic change from there on, as Kevin is desperate enough to tag along with Tez’s dangerous transactions to find some evidence. Kevin tracks down Tez again and learns he’s doing a drug business deal.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Speaking To The Media

Speaking to the media, Michael points out Kevin’s love for Abi that he’s going to dangerous situations to find her and bring her home.

“Kevin is not someone who has ever found himself in this dark underbelly of society, he is out of his comfort zone and putting himself at risk,” the actor told Digital Spy.

Kevin goes as far as documenting Tez’s transactions to blackmail him on Coronation Street, to spill all he knows or he’ll send the evidence to Tez’s probation officer. Tez admits he saw her weeks ago, but they didn’t exchange words. Did Kevin bark up at the wrong tree?
