Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) is on maternity leave. She and her husband recently welcomed a son into the world. So, the longtime Y&R stalwart projects as returning to work sometime this fall.

Adam made some significant decisions while Chelsea has been away. One of them was telling her that Chadam was over. The other was telling Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) that there would be no Chadam reunion.

Chelsea was angry that Adam boxed her out of that in-person meeting. She has tucked that disrespectful choice away and will likely revisit the issue when returning to GC. Adam could use Sally as cover when Chelsea does.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) did not anticipate Sally and Adam becoming a couple. That potential outcome puts Chloe in the same mess she has been in where her best friend is concerned.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Needs Someone

Adam is not used to being single for long, except for the possible exception of when he was calling himself Spider in Las Vegas, Nevada. Digitally skipping to the now, Adam ruled Chelsea out and has been unable to realize his desired reconciliation with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

Sally’s persona is similar to Adam’s, in that she is a risk-taker who does not care what other people think of her. Like Adam, she has deep talent. Both people know that they provoke competitive personality types.

Adam may be resisting the inevitable, as a duo between him and Sally would seem to be a great soapy match. As for Sally, she is playing the long game in believing that Adam will eventually pursue her.
